Here at Prem2Pram we try to support as many hospitals as we possibly can by donating premature babies clothes for the really tiny babies in NICU - neonatal intensive care unit. Christening, Baptismal and Burial gowns for those babies born asleep and for babies that have sadly passed away shortly after birth. We also donate sleeping angel blankets, why do we do this? The answer is simple when a baby is born asleep or dies shortly after birth the grieving parents often have little or nothing belonging to their baby. The sleeping angel blankets can quite often be the only keepsake grieving parents might have.
We have donated the items listed below between Wigan Infirmary, Ormskirk District General, Royal Bolton Hospital, University Hospital of North Staffordshire, Ninewells Hospital Dundee, Kingston Hospital Surrey, Great Western Hospital in Swindon, Poole General, Oliver Fisher SCBU Kent and St George’s Hospital in Tooting, South West London, this list will continually be updated as more items are donated.
